The Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan

                                  Humanity as a whole is now involved in a great                                             conflict between Christ and Satan in regards to the                                       character of God, His law and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict arose in heaven when the being created and provided of free will exalted him and became Satan (See, Gen. 3;

Rev.. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Ezeq. 28:12-18; Gén. 6-8; II Pedro 3:6; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:19-21; 8:19-22; Heb. 1:4-14; I Cor. 4:9).

The Experience of Being Saved

2 Corinthians 5:21 says: “For he hath made him to                                        be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be                                          made the righteousness of God in him.” What                                                infinite mercy and love on the part of God! Made that Christ "who knew no sin is made sin for us, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Now, guided by the Holy Spirit

  1. We feel our need,

  2. We recognize our sinfulness,

  3. We repent of our transgressions and

  4. We exercise faith in Jesus as Lord and Christ, as substitute and example. (Ver, 2 Cor. 5:17-21;  Juan 3:16; Gal. 1:4; 4:4-7; Gal. 3:13,14; Tit. 3:3-7;  Juan 16:8; 1Pedro 2:21, 22; Rom. 10:17; Luk 17:5; Mar. 9:23, 24; Efe. 2:5-10; Rom. 3:21-26; Col. 1:13,14; 3:3-8; 1Ped. 1:23; Rom. 12:2 3:26; 8:14-17; Heb. 8:7-12; Ezequiel 36:25-27; 2 Ped. 1:3, 4; 8:1-4; 5:6-10).

In Christ, you can grow

The physical growth requires nutrition, environment,support, exercise, education and appropriate training, and a life full of purpose. Similarly, spiritual growth, demands the same things;

and furthermore, constant efforts and persevering until reaching the stature of Christ, having obtained the death of “I”. This death should be the goal of every Christian. (See: John 3:16, 4:21, 6:35, 9:35, 10:25, 11:25, 12:36, 44, Mark 16:16, Acts 16: 3, Romans 3:22, 10 : 9; 1 Thessalonians 4:14; 1 John 5: 1 and 20).

Society with God / Stewardship

Being partners with God, we become stewards

of God, and to whom God trusts:

  1. Time and opportunities,

  2. Capabilities and possessions, and

  3. The blessings of the earth and its resources.

As He taught them to our first parents, Adam and Eve, first partners and stewards of God, we must recognize the right of ownership on the part of God through our faithful service to Him and to our fellow; and today, this said right of divine property that we must recognize, by returning tithes and offerings that we give to:

1. The proclamation of His Gospel; for as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9:14, 2. For that, "Those who preach the Gospel …live of the Gospel."

3. That is to say, for the support and development and building up of His church. (See, Gen. 1:26-28; 2:15; 1 Chron. 29:14; Hag. 1:3-11; Gen. 3:8-12; 1 Cor. 9:9-14; Mat. 23:23; Rom. 15:26,27; 2 Cor. 8:1-15).

Fidelity to God and Sustaining the Church

The Biblical teaching that we as the Church of the Seventh Day follow in respect of tithe, is that this is holy to the Lord and it is the provision of God for

the upkeep of His gospel ministry. Voluntary offerings are also part of the plan of God for the sustenance of His local work and throughout the world. The tithes and offerings are to be placed in the warehouse of God, the granary or treasury of the Lord. There is a risk of violating the seventh commandment and carry a curse by subtracting the tithe or the offering or both; because it is the Lord Himself who is emphatically claiming it with the following words: " Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. (See: Genesis 14:20; Lev 27:31; Numbers 18:21, 24, 26, 28; Malachi 3: 9-10; Luke 6:38).

The Conduct of the Christian

To think and feel and act in harmony with the principles of Heaven, we have been called by God. That is to say, called to be merciful people and obedient to Him.

Therefore, getting involved in only those things that produce in our life purity, health and Christian joy, is when the Holy Spirit recreates in us or reproduces the character of our Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore, in our behavior we will follow the advice of Paul who says: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:8). (See, Rom. 12:1,2; 1 Jhon 2:6; Eph. 5:1-21; 2 Cor. 10:5; 6:14-7:1; 1Pedro 3:1-4; 1 Corintios 6:19, 20; 10:31; Leviticus 11; 3 Jhon 2).

The Gift of Prophesying or being a Prophet

According to the book of 2 Peter 1:21, all true prophecy originates in God and comes to their recipients (people) by means of individuals moved by

the Holy Spirit. Therefore, given the extent of the work to be performed on this end of the world in which we live, in which in a live voice must we “speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.” (1Cor. 14:3), God understands that it is necessary, and He is doing so, by putting to prophesy men, women, young people and the elderly as records the Bible in the book of Joel, and for that He has given us the gift of prophesy or prophecy. However, as "The years of our life are seventy years; And in the strongest, up to eighty years "(Psalm 90:10), a prophet because of his shortness of life is not enough to prophesy men with a living voice at the time of the end of the world in which we live. So, God has left us the promises made by the prophets Joel (Joel 2:28 and 29), John (Revelation 12:17, 19:10) and others, on the proclamation of His will through men, women, youth, and elders, so that they may present their testimony by word of mouth as a fulfillment of the Scriptures (Also see, Acts 2:14-21 y Heb. 1:1-3).

The Moral Law of God, The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments, which exist from the Eden, which are also called the Ten Words, the Ten Precepts, the testimonies, the ordinances just,

statutes, etc.; we believe that it is the immutable law of God written with His own finger; Unlike the ceremonial law written by Moses. The two tables that contain them, one had four (related to God), and the other six (related to man for man). The Bible refers to them, rather than to most other subjects; and so that there is no mistake, the ten are also found in the New Testament. Of the Ten Commandments, the fourth, offer other evidence that the creation story in Genesis involves literal days. In the fourth commandment God says, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy: six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: thou shalt not do any work therein, son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them. rested on the seventh day: therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. " (Exodus 20: 8-11). With such Commandments, God tests us if we love Him. (See: Genesis 2:16, 17; 3: 4-6; Exodus 20: 1-17; Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 5:1-21; Ezekiel 2:12, 20; Matthew 5:17-19; John 14:15; Matthew 4: 9; Matthew 4: 9; Matthew 4: 9; Matthew 4: 9; Luke 4: 9; Romans 7: 7, 9; Ephesians 6: 2; James 4: 2).

The Fourth Commandment or weekly Sabbath, is one of the Ten Commandments

Beliefs in

The Creator, after six days of creation, sitting down with the first couple, joyfully rested on the seventh day, and instituted the Sabbath for all men, as a memorial of creation.

The fourth commandment of the immutable Law of God requires the observance of the seventh day, Saturday, as a

  1. Day of rest

  2. Day of adoration and

  3. Day of doing the good this is according to the Biblical teachings and practices of Jesus, who is the Lord of the Sabbath.

That is why the seventh day, apart from being a day:

  1. Of rest

  2. Blessed and

  3. Holy; also results in:

       a) A day of pleasant communion with God and our other                    brothers and sisters,

       b) A symbol of our redemption in Christ,

       c) A signal of our sanctification,

       d) A demonstration of our loyalty, and

       e) An anticipation of our eternal future in the kingdom of God. The Creator placed in the very center of the moral law the mandate to remember this sacred monument to His creative power, out of love for His sons and daughters. In order to not forget the observance of this holy time; time that goes from one evening to the other evening, sunset of the sixth day to the next sunset of the seventh day. Saturday, also is a day of celebration of the creative and redemptive work of God. (See: Gen. 2:1-3; Ex. 20:8-11; Luk. 4:16; Isa. 56:5, 6; 58:13, 14; Matt. 12:1-12; Ex. 31:13-17; Ezek. 20:12, 20; Deut. 5:12-15; Heb. 4:1-11; Lev. 23:32; Mk. 1:32).

Unity in the Church

Our Bible teaching as a Seventh-day Church in terms of the unity of the Body of Christ, His church, can be found in different parts of the Holy Book; and especially in the book Acts chapter 2 and verse 38-

47, which says: "And Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost: likewise we are founded in the prayer of Jesus of John 17:21 : "That they may all be one; as you, O Father, in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. "That is why we practice and teach about unity as part of our doctrines. (See, Rom. 12:4, 5; 1 Cor.

12:12-14; Mat. 28:19, 20; Psam 133:1, 2; 2 Cor. 5:16, 17; Acts 17:26, 27; Gal. 3:27, 29; Col. 3:10-15; Eph. 4:14-16; 4:1-6; Jhon 17:20-23).

Marriage and Family

To think, feel and act in harmony with the principles of Heaven, we have been called to understand and believe what happened in the Garden of Eden and confirmed by Jesus at the wedding of Cana. God established holy marriage exclusively between a man and a woman. These, in loving communion, are united by this sacred alliance, to be a union for all their life. For the Christian, marriage is a commitment

where God occupies the central place between men and women. It is recommended that it be celebrated only between people who participate in the same faith. The structure of such a relationship is composed of:

  1. The mutual love,

  2. The honor,

  3. Respect and

  4. The Responsibility is a symbol of reflection:

       A) Of love,

       B) The Holiness,

       C) The Intimacy and

       D) The sustainability of the relationship between Christ and His Church.

In contrast, adultery, Jesus taught, is committed when the person is divorced, unless it is caused by unlawful sexual intercourse, and marries another person. It does not matter that some family relationships are not ideal; when the spouses dedicate themselves fully to each other, in Christ, they can achieve a loving unity thanks to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, thanks also to the pastoral instruction of the Church. God blesses the family and wants its members to help each other to achieve full maturity. In marriage, parents must:

  1. Educate your children to love and obey the Lord; and

  2. So, to them.

  3. Respect them as brothers and sisters,

  4. You should teach them through precept and example:

       A) That Christ disciplines lovingly

       B) Who is always friendly,

       C) Who cares for His creatures, and

       D) That He wants them to become members of His body, the Church, which is the family of God.

As a church, we believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful distortions of God's gift of sex. A growing family intimacy, according to what is written in Luke 1:16 and 17, is one of the characteristic features of the last message of the gospel: "And he will cause many of the children of Israel to turn to the Lord their God. before him with the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and from the rebellious to the wisdom of the just, to prepare the Lord a preparation for the Lord. (See: Genesis 2: 18-25; Matthew 19: 3-9; Romans 7: 2; John 2: 1-11; 2 Corinthians 6:14; Ephesians 5: 21-33; Matthew 5:31, 32; Mk. 10: 11, 12,;Luke 16:18; 1 Corinthians 7: 10, 11; Exodus 20:12; Eph 6: 1-4; Deuteronomy 6: 5-9; Prov. 22: 6; Mal. 4: 5 , 6).
